On Tuesday (05/16/2017), delegations from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom attended a meeting with Universitas Indonesia, taking place at International Office Meeting Room, Rectorate Building 1st floor, UI Campus Depok.
The delegations were Professor Robin Mason, Pro Vice Chancellor (International), University of Birmingham, Mr. Charles Luke Wales, Director International Strategic Engagement.

D., Head of International Office, also attending the meetingDr. Hamid Chalid, S.H., LL.M., Vice Rector for Human Resource, Development and Partnership, Mr. Sigit Wibowo, S.E, MM, Ph. D., Deputy Director, Directorate of Partnership, Dr. Yasmine Nasution, Corporate Secretary, Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Badrul Munir, ST., M.Eng.Sc, Manager for Partnership, Student Affair, Alumni and Venture, Faculty of Engineering, Mrs. Muthia Pramesti, Head of International Office, Faculty of Economics and Business, Mrs. Nurul Tri W, Coordinator for International Engagement and Partnership, Mrs. Alfrida madame Hutapea, Coordinator for International Mobility, Advisor from Vice Rector.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss further opportunities for collaboration in the fields of higher education and joint research programs. Birmingham University also signed the Student Exchange Agreement and Double Degree Agreement with Faculty of Economics and Business. Birmingham University is one of the universities that has a double degree collaboration with UI. The University is strong in chemical engineering and rail engineering field. Now, Birmingham University is in process for cooperation with Faculty of Engineering UI. Both UI and Birmingham hope that this collaboration will be active and going.
