  • We would like to inform you the Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS) which is a graduate scholarship for studying in the areas of Engineering, Technology and Management at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (Master and Doctoral Program), Thammasat University, Thailand.   Number of Scholarships: 40 continuing Scholarships   Master’s degree (2-year curriculum) Doctoral degree (3-year curriculum)   Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition and educational support fees (full thesis support) Living allowance of 10,000 Baht per month comprises: SIIT dormitory fee (2,000 Baht per month)* Personal living allowance of 8,000 Baht per month Round trip economy travel expenses, themost direct route to and from Thailand and the recipient’s home country (actual expense, but not over 20,000 Baht) Miscellaneous expenses such as visa fees, airport taxes , etc. (actual expenses, but not over 10,000 Baht) Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand * Scholarship recipients are required to stay at the SIIT dormitory for a period of at least 12 months. During the aforementioned period, the dormitory monthly fee of 2,000 Baht will be deducted directly from the recipient’s living allowance.   Candidate Qualifications: Not a Thai citizen, nor of Thai nationality. Excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class) Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate programs admission.   •   Osaka University Coupling Internship Program with theme of ‘Challenges and measures in cultivation of human resources’ finally ended on August 31, 2017. The presentation & closing was held at Apung Function room at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The event started with opening speech from Prof. Melda Kamil Ariadno, S.H, LL.M, Ph.D, Head of International Office UI and continued by presentation by Team A and Team B, including Q & A session. After the presentation, attendees from PT. Cilegon Fabricators, Mr. Masakazu Nagayoshi, President Director, PTCF gave comments and continued by closing remarks from Dr. Tetsuo Suga, Visiting Professor, Joining and Welding Research Institute, Osaka University. The next agenda was awarding ceremony and followed by taking group photos in Apung Meeting Room.

  •   The 5th Global Internship & Summer English Program, Chiba University Closing Ceremony finally ended on August 31, 2017. The closing was held at Health Sciences Cluster, Room A209 at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The event started with remarks from Nurul Tri W, Coordinator for Global Engagement Partnership, International Office UI and continued by remarks from Chiba University representative, Ms. Satoko Jumi from the Department of Students Affairs Office for Top Global University Project Promotion, Chiba University.. After that, International Office delivered the certificate of Completion to each participants, followed by taking group photos.

  •   Universitas Indonesia Credit Earning Program for Students (UI-CREATES) Short Course with theme of ‘Learning the World of Diversity’, where the participants from 6 different universities participating in term 7 finally ended on 25 August, 2017. The closing was held at Apung Function room at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The closing ceremony started with welcome remarks from Prof. Melda Kamil Ariadno, S.H, LL.M, Ph.D, Head of International Office UI and continued by Closing Remarks from Prof. Go Ito from Meiji University. After that, International Office delivered the certificate of Completion to each participants, followed by award announcement of the best group presentation from class A and class B and followed by award for winner of the games from class A and class B. The closing ceremony was ended by video and slide show about the program summary made by participants and UI student buddies (LO).

The closing ceremony started with welcome remarks from Nurul Tri W, Coordinator for Global Engagement Partnership, International Office UI. After that, International Office delivered the certificate of Completion to each participants, followed by performance from the participants and LO’s. The closing ceremony was ended by video and slide show about the program summary made by participants and UI student buddies (LO).

  • Seoul National University (SNU), Korea  offers programs for  undergraduates in all subjects in semester 3 (min) and semester 6 (max) and has never participated in a scholarship program from the International Office. Students who are interested can submit an application along with supporting documents: Recommendations of the faculty, final transcripts (GPA min. 3.3 for Social Sciences and Economics and Business) and (IPK min. 3.1 for Health Sciences, Natural Sciences and Engineering), TOEFL ITP at least 550/ IELTS at least 6, Motivation letter and CV to the International Office at the latest on 20th September 2017.   *Students should be in their 3rd semester (min) and 6th semester (max) by the time of the application **Note: Students who have participated/enrolled to any scholarship program from International Office UI are NOT eligible

  • The 5th Chiba Global Internship and Summer English Program held by UI, starting from 19 August – 16 September, 2017. The opening was held at Apung Function room at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The opening ceremony started with welcome remarks from Dr. Ir. Dodi Sudiana M.Eng, Director of Partnership, Universitas Indonesia and continued by Opening Remarks from Chiba University’s representative, Satoko Jumi from the Department of Students Affairs Office for Top Global University Project Promotion, Chiba University. The next agenda was group photo session followed by introduction session from UI staffs and LO’s. after that, there was a presentation Program Overview and presentation about Life in Indonesia. In this opening session, the students were given explanation and briefing about the program. They were also introduced to International Office staffs and student buddies who would guide them throughout the program. In addition, the participating students from Chiba University also introduced themselves to get to know each other. The opening ended with exchange of tokens and group pictures, and the participants were looking forward for the internship program.

The opening was held at Apung Function room at Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The opening ceremony started with welcome remarks from Mrs. Riani Rachmawati, S.E, M.A, Ph.D, Director of Human Resources, Universitas Indonesia and continued by Opening Remarks from Mr. Tsugihiro Shimura from University of Tokyo and Prof. Go Ito from Meiji University. The next agenda was group photo session followed by introduction session from UI staffs and LO’s. after that, there was a presentation Program Overview and presentation about Life in Indonesia. In this UI-CREATES Short Course program, the participants will not only study, but also conducting field observation activities and discussion related to the subjects of Indonesia’s Foreign Policy. This particular theme of this year program is chosen to encourage all participants to actively exchange their intellectual, culture, and other practices. Harmonization of different cultures along with its dynamics will enrich our knowledge and open dialogues to initiate further study and cultural understanding so we can learn the beauty of diversity.
