International Undergraduate Programs collaborate with prestigious foreign universities, granting students the choice between a single degree from UI or a double degree from both UI and the partner institution

International Undergraduate Program

Single Degree

Our Single Degree International Programs an outstanding university experience in Indonesia, with international and local insights. The programs are conducted in English as the medium of instruction. This program allows students to complete one semester abroad at Universitas Indonesia’s partner universities as part of the curriculum requirements.

Double Degree

Joint Degree Programs offer international curriculum, a center of excellence of global education. Our Joint Degree Programs are delivered in collaboration with a long-established university partners in Australia, UK, the Netherlands, and Germany, allowing graduates to obtain two degrees; from the Universitas Indonesia and our partner university.

General Requirements

  • High school graduated or equivalent for no longer than 5 years at the time of registration (e.g. admission 2024 for high school graduates in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020)

Document Requirements

  • Non Indonesian passport
  • Latest color photo (full face without hat/glasses/accessories)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High school academic transcript or equivalent
  • English Proficiency Certificate:

If you have or will have received a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, you do not need to submit TOEFL/IELTS certificate.

    • International TOEFL (www.ets.org) with minimum score of 173 (CBT); or 61 (iBT)
    • IELTS (http://ielts.org) with minimum score of 5.5.
    • TOEFL/IELTS score are valid for two years from the test date.
  • Motivation Statement.
  • Health Certificate.
  • Additional document: SAT (sat.collegeboard.org) is strongly recommend to support your application.

    • For Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Humanities applicant, TOEFL score must above 213(CBT); or 80(iBT) or IELTS score must above 6.
    • For Nutrition Department (Faculty of Medicine) applicant, IELTS score must above 6.5.
  • Indonesian language proficiency test (TIBA) certificate with minimum score of 4, or Indonesian Language Score (BIPA) certificate with minimum level of 3. TIBA/BIPA certificate is mandatory document, except those from high school with entirely the class in Bahasa Indonesia. For Faculty of Economic and Business applicant, student should have TIBA certificate with minimum score of 5
  • Faculty of Economics and Business applicant should submit common entry examination score (e.g. GRE or GMAT) with minimum score of 500.

Spesific Requirements

Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine

  • Master degree in Nutrition or health related sciences with high academic GPA ≥ 3 (scale 4.0). PBT TOEFL min.550 or iBT TOEFL min. 80 or IELTS min. 6.5
  • A brief research pre-proposal in relevant nutrition topics.
  • Two reference letter from their former supervisor or advisor or lecturer or head of department.
  • A financial guarantee letter or scholarship statement.

Faculty of Engineering

  • Master degree holder in related sciences.
  • Reccomendation from Professor of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia
  • iBT TOEFL min. 80 or IELTS min. 6.5 (band score for each skill min. 6)

Medical Science, Faculty of Medicine

  • Nationals or permanent resident of a South East Asia country.
  • Master degree in Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences
  • PBT TOEFL min. 550 or iBT TOEFL min.80 or IELTS min. 6.5
  • Having graduated from Master program not more than 6 years ago at the time of application.
