UI Middle East and Islam Studies is a study program with a focus on Middle East Region. Beside that, this program also has Islam studies, economy sharia studies, and Islam and Psychology studies. This program aims at becoming an education institution which develops science and scientific studies with an interdisciplinary based focuses on middle-east region and Islam studies. Therefore, this program has a commitment to keep developing it science research and uphold academic ethics, inclusiveness and openness, according to social needs.

Graduates of the program have the opportunities to pursue higher careers in diplomatic missions, international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), international agencies, mass media and education field.
