UI RESOLV
UI-RESOLV is a visiting scholar program particularly designed to facilitate international academics and researchers to conduct various activities for two weeks at Universitas Indonesia and to support UI scholars visiting our partner universities.

PREFERRED RESEARCH AREAS
Health Sciences; Social and Political Sciences; Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Technology.
Inbound Mobility Program
We are pleased to invite academics and researchers of overseas universities to exchange expertise, carry out research with UI academics counterparts, deliver lectures, and engage with UI students. Universitas Indonesia offers support for two-week long visit period that includes:
- Accommodation (payable directly by UI to the hotel)
- Local transportation arranged by hosting Faculties
- Two-week stipend for maximum of Rp. 20,000,000
Please note that the grant does not cover the international travel expenses such as flight ticket, visa and travel insurance. The inbound visiting lecturer under RESOLV program will receive Rp. 625,000/hour, which will be deducted subject to the Indonesian government tax). In addition, the RESOLV inbound lecturers/researchers must do a minimum of 20 hours up to 40 hours of activity, which can be stretched from one to two weeks.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program you must meet at least one of the following categories:
- Be a faculty member of overseas universities that are affiliated in an organization/association with UI
- Be a faculty member of overseas universities that have agreements (MOU/AOI) with UI
- Be a faculty member of overseas universities who is proposed by UI faculties
- Be a faculty member of any prominent overseas university
Outbound Mobility Program
We are pleased to facilitate UI scholars and researchers to exchange expertise and carry out research with overseas partners, deliver lectures, and engage with international students.
Universitas Indonesia offers support for a two-week long visit that includes:
- Travel allowance
- Lump sum (including accommodation)
Eligibility
UI faculty members should have activities in universities within these categories:
- Universities that are affiliated in an organization/association with UI
- Universities that have agreements (MOU/AOI) with UI
- Other universities with strong justification of the benefit
- Faculty members who have not participated in the UI-RESOLV outbound program is preferred

- Letter of Recommendation from the home university or faculty
- A copy of identity page of passport
- Proposed activities during visit (including lecturing, building teaching materials, building curriculum, designing joint-research proposal, developing joint-publication, undertaking research as agreed by the host institution)
- Summary of proposed research (if applicants are particularly doing a research endeavor for the visit)
- Relevant correspondence with related faculty member of the host university (if any)
Notes:
Applicants may wish to contact potential host university before making the application to seek mutual interest in a certain research or academic activities. For mutual benefit, we want to ensure that the proposed research area concurs with our current interests and research expertise within the faculty. As for our foreign partners they may propose any UI academics to be assigned to their university.
