The programs are varied from short courses, internships, to non-academic classes on the international level in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia’s overseas partners, including but not limited to higher education institutions, governmental institutions, and private educational institutions.
If it is in accordance with agreements or offers, we can assist with the accommodation placement for international short program participants who visit Universitas Indonesia. For information, the Universitas Indonesia has 2 guest houses located within the Depok campus area and are managed by our university as well
We can arrange participant pick-up from the airport and campus transportation by bus, either buses from the Universitas Indonesia or rented from external companies.
The Directorate for Internationalization of Education manages a buddy club well-known as the UI Buddy Club which is possible to involve them during short program activities at Universitas Indonesia to assist the participants during the agenda and familiarize them with the environment, culture, and Universitas Indonesia.
For students from overseas partner universities, to be able to take part in a short program at the Universitas Indonesia and enter Indonesia legally, it is necessary to do research regarding the Indonesian immigration regulations. The type of short programs will greatly influence the visa index used.
For example, a short course will require a C9 Visa, while other programs might be sufficient with a Visa B1 (Visa on Arrival). For the detailed and updated information on this matter, please refer to the information from our Immigration team which is available on our official website.
