About Us

Directorate for Internationalization of Education

The International Office of Universitas Indonesia, which has been actively supporting Universitas Indonesia’s internationalization for 24 years, has now transformed into The Directorate for Internationalization of Education.

Our new directorate is led by Fadhilah Muslim, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., DIC. Under her leadership, we are responsible for developing and implementing international education policies and programs, coordinating the International class program across universities, strengthening and facilitating international partnerships in education, supporting international mobility programs for students and academic staff, and providing international services for international students and academic staff.

To implement our programs, our new directorate consists of four sub-directorates as follows:

The International Education Development

Focuses on developing academic programs that meet international standards and fostering partnerships with universities and educational institutions worldwide.

The International Mobility Program

Oversees various student mobility programs for UI students who are eager to study overseas and international students who are keen to study at UI, and also coordinating the International class program

The International Student Welfare

Provides administrative services and hospitality for international students and academic staff throughout their activities at UI, manages the scholarships for UI and international students, holds international short-term programs, and optimizes the media channels for enhancing the internationalization programs at UI.

The International Promotion and Recruitment

Develops and executes strategic promotion and recruitment initiatives to meet university internationalization targets, manages partnerships with educational agencies, and represents the university in international education fairs. This unit oversees communication services for prospective international students, facilitates foreign delegation visits, and coordinates the academic review for international educational cooperation agreements.

We are confident that the new structure of our Directorate will strengthen UI’s position as a recognized institution globally. This enhancement will increase the academic competitiveness and broaden international partnerships, ensuring the best educational experience for Indonesian and international students.
