“I studied at the Faculty of Indonesian Literature at UI. There I learned about Indonesian language, traditional culture, and literary works. I was impressed by the fact that students were not only required to passively attend classes, but also to be proactive in their learning by giving presentations and creating original literary works.

In addition, there were international students from many regions at UI, and I was able to deepen exchanges with them at events that introduced  the culture of the regions from which they came.  All of these experiences were significant in helping me acquire specialized knowledge and develop an international mindset.”

“As I prepared to embark on my academic journey to Indonesia, I was honored and excited to have the opportunity to further my studies at one of the country’s most prestigious institutions, Universitas Indonesia. While adapting to a new culture and way of life initially presented challenges. This experience not only enriched my academic work but also deepened my understanding and appreciation of Indonesian culture.

As a final thought, I leave you with this guiding principle: “If you can think it, you can achieve it.” Remain steadfast in your pursuit of excellence, and do not allow any obstacles to deter your aspirations. My sincere gratitude goes to Universitas Indonesia for the profound impact it has had on my academic and professional growth—an experience I will always cherish.”
