Call for application for exchange program at Hanyang University ERICA in South Korea is offering a Science & Engineering Scholarship Program (SESP)! Open for undergraduate students who have never participated on exchange or fee-paying study abroad program.

This program offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students in science and engineering fields to begin their academic journey at Hanyang ERICA as exchange students and later pursue integrated graduate studies (Master’s + PhD) with full tuition waiver and monthly living stipend.

Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

An active UI Student
Students should be at the minimun in their 3rd and 4th semester, providing a pathway to pursue combined Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in various fields of science and engineering.
Have not completed all required credits of their study
Must transfer credits to UI after completing exchange program
Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
Have a strong academic performance
Have a strong competence in English proficiency

Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in a student exchange or fee-paying study abroad program are not eligible
Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application.
Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)

The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
Earned credits are transferable to UI.

Exchange Program for Undergraduate

Monthly stipend KRW 600,000

Combine Programs Master + Ph.D.

Full tuition coverage for graduate programs
Monthly stipend KRW 600,000
Guaranteed dormitory accommodation for up to two years in the graduate program.
