HCMUT Summer Program 2025: “Waste treatment towards Sustainability in Vietnam in the context of Climate Changes”

Program Duration: 3 – 17 August 2025 (2 weeks)

Call for application for short-course program at HCMUT Summer Program 2025! Open for undergraduate students who have never participated in an international mobility program.

The participants can get a certificate and/ or credit earning letter (2 credits) upon the request.

Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
  • An active UI Student
  • Min. 3rd semester (bachelor's) at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in an international mobility program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any international mobility program at the time of application.
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Dean or Vice Dean), must state:
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL IBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • CV & Motivation letter
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

Program coverage

The program covers:

  • Accommodation (14 nights, twin or tribble share, breakfast excluded)
  • Some coffee breaks
  • Local transport (a coach/ bus for airport pick-up/ drop off and excursion tours/ field trips only)
  • Lectures and academic materials
  • Certificate of completion

Participants or the sending (home) university are responsible for:

  • Meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners)
  • Excursion tours
  • Transportation outside the official program schedule.
  • Travel and medical insurance (Students are required to submit a copy of insurance certificate documents before entry)
  • International flight fares (Students are required to submit a copy of electronic tickets before entry for airport pick-up arrangement)
  • Visa application and processing fees (where applicable)
  • Other personal expenses incurred
