KIST School Student Internship Program, South Korea | For Spring Semester 2026

Call for application for internship program at Korea Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea!
Open for undergraduate (Applied Bachelor – D4), (Bachelor – S1) and Graduate students who have never participated in an international mobility program.

Eligiblity

For Vocational Program (Applied Bachelor – D4), Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
  • An active UI Student
  • Min. 3rd semester for Vocational (D4) and Bachelor at the time of application
  • Min. 2nd semester for Master at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the internship program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Students who have never participated in an international mobility program.
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any international mobility program at the time of application.
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  3. Earned credits are transferable to UI.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL IBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

About the Programs

For Indonesia, students will participate under Track 2, with the internship period running from March to July 2026.

Please note that the main differences between Track 1 and Track 2 are as follows:

  • Track 2 ends one month earlier than Track 1, taking into account the academic calendar in Indonesia.
  • Track 2 operates on an individual basis, where each applicant will have a one-on-one interview with the prospective supervising professor (PI).
