Period of internship : 4 weeks or 8 weeks between October 1, 2026 and July 31, 2027

Open for Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1), and Graduate (Master – S2) students who have not participated in any funded international mobility program.

Eligiblity

For Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1), and Graduate (Master – S2) Students
  • An active UI Student at Faculty of Engineering
  • Minimum in the 3rd semester for Bachelor (S1) students at the time of application
  • Minimum in the 2nd semester for Master (S2) students at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the internship program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Students who have previously participated in or are currently enrolled in any funded international mobility program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any international mobility program at the time of application
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL IBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

Notes:

  1. SIIT provides a scholarship of 8,000 Thai Baht per student per month, for a maximum duration of two months.
  2. The scholarship will cover a maximum of 8 weeks, unless students choose to extend their internship without scholarship support.
    Internships before October 1, 2026 are not available.
  3. The Internship period should start at the beginning of the month (no later than the 5th) and finish at the end of the month. For example, an internship could be scheduled from October 3, 2026, to November 30, 2026
  4. The duration of internship should last for either 4 or 8 weeks (equivalent to 1 or 2 full months).
  5. You will not be able to change your internship period/duration, once you have been officially accepted to participate in the internship program.
  6. During your internship period, you are not allowed to take vacations that would affect your internship program. You must follow the schedule provided by your supervisor.
