Faculty of Law (Doctoral’s Program)

The UI Doctoral Program in Law aims to produce graduates with international qualifications. The program has collaborated with various universities abroad, including Maastricht University and Groningen University in the Netherlands and the University of Washington in the United States.

Vision:

To produce superior, integrated, and competitive doctors of law, both at national and international levels.

Mission:

1. Organizing a Doctoral program in Law for the development of science;
2. Organizing a Doctoral Program in Law to improve the standard and quality of life of the Indonesian people and humanity;
3. Organizing a Doctoral Program in Law that is able to meet national and global needs, demands, and challenges, as well as strengthening the integrity of the related legal profession.
4. Organizing a Doctoral program in Law that is in line with the ideals of upholding justice.

The quality of the implementation has been recognized nationally by obtaining Excellent Accreditation in national accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT), based on the decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education BAN-PT No. 11365/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/D/X/2021 on October 5, 2021. In 2022, FHUI succeeded in increasing its international ranking to 101-150 in the world in the  law and legal studies category  based on the QS World Ranking.

We invite law students in Indonesia and abroad to join as graduates of the leading doctoral program in Indonesia. Lectures will begin in September held in two locations, namely Salemba Campus and Depok Campus.
