It is a special bachelor’s degree program designed to give students an international quality education while studying in Indonesia. It is also called Kelas Khusus Internasional (KKI).
In IUP, all courses are taught in English, and it provides an opportunity to study abroad. There are 3 schemes, that is Single Degree (SD), Double/Joint Degree. and Fast Track Program.
All courses are delivered in English, and students have the option to obtain a single degree from Universitas Indonesiaor a double/joint degree from Universitas Indonesia and the program’s partner university abroad.
The single-degree program means you study for 7 semesters at UI and a required 1-semester (minimum) study abroad for Indonesian students or an optional one-semester study abroad for International students and earn a bachelor’s degree from Universitas Indonesia.
The double/joint-degree program lets you study at UI for about 2 years (depending on partner university policy), then continue at a partner university abroad for one or 2 years. After finishing, you will receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from UI and the other one from the partner university. This program gives you more international exposure and experience living and studying in another country.

There are three schemes available in the KKI Program:
A type of KKI Program in which students complete all courses at Universitas Indonesia, with a minimum of one semester of study abroad. Upon completion of all requirements, students receive one degree and diploma from Universitas Indonesia.
A type of KKI Program that enables students to obtain two diplomas and/or two degrees upon completion of all academic requirements at both Universitas Indonesia and a partner university abroad.
A type of KKI Program that allows students to complete a Bachelor’s (S1) and Master’s (S2) degree in a shorter period of time than the regular pathway.

Only TOEFL/IELTS/FCE/CAE certificates obtained from March 2024 onward are considered valid.
If you have or will receive a high school or equivalent school certificate from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, you do not need to submit an English language proficiency certificate. Instead, you must provide a letter from your institution confirming that English is the primary language of instruction.
If you come from an English-speaking country and study in a school where English is the primary language of instruction, you should complete the letter of statement provided and submit it with the other documents when you do the enrolment.

Universitas Indonesia provides extensive facilities that support students academically, socially, and personally, including a comprehensive central library, modern laboratories, research centers, student activity centers, sports and recreational facilities, on-campus accommodation, health services, and 24-hour security.
The admission process for the KKI Program is conducted through SIMAK UI. Selection is based on a written test covering Basic Mathematics, English, Logic, and Quantitative Reasoning.
