The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Indonesia is the first psychology faculty established in Indonesia and continues to serve as a leading model for the development of other psychology faculties nationwide.

With a strong vision to become a center of excellence in psychology education, research, and application, the Faculty is committed to addressing contemporary challenges through a focus on cross-cultural, urban, and indigenous perspectives. It aims to produce graduates who are competitive on both national and international levels.

The Faculty of Psychology UI adopts innovative and engaging teaching methods, emphasizing student-centered learning approaches such as group discussions, collaborative learning, and problem-based learning. These methods are designed to foster critical thinking, active participation, and academic excellence in a global context.

Doctoral's in Psychology

The Doctoral Program in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia, is designed to develop experts who are ethical, competent, and innovative in advancing psychological science. The program aims to generate new knowledge with strategic contributions at both national and international levels, while addressing current societal needs, especially within urban and cultural contexts.

With a vision to become a leading provider of doctoral education and research in psychology in Indonesia and to play an active role within Southeast Asia, the program emphasizes academic excellence and global relevance.

Its mission includes delivering competitive doctoral education at the regional level, producing graduates with strong ethics and a spirit of innovation, and generating culturally informed psychological research that responds to contemporary societal challenges.
