Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence

The program offers a balanced mix of fundamental AI knowledge, practical projects, and industry experience and gives students access to MBZUAI’s cutting-edge research community and facilities, as well as a lifetime alumni network.

Eligiblity

  • Submit a CV including academic background, work experience, research publications, and programming skills
  • Official transcripts and degree certificate or graduation letter for Bachelor’s degree
  • Official transcripts and degree certificate or graduation letter for Master’s degree (Ph.D. applicants only)
  • References (at least 3 for Ph.D. applicants, and 2 for M.Sc. applicants)
  • Research Statement (Ph.D. applicants only, PDF format)
  • Statement of Purpose (PDF format)
  • Valid English proficiency certificate (must meet admission criteria and be submitted at the time of application)
  • Copy of valid passport
  • White-background photo
  • Entrance examination (strongly recommended but optional)

Scholarship benefits includes:

  • M.Sc. stipend: AED 8,000/month (approx. IDR 35 million)
  • Ph.D. stipend: AED 10,000/month + additional AED 5,000 for married students living off-campus (approx. IDR 66 million)
  • On-campus accommodation
  • Visa and health insurance coverage
