Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
  • An active UI Student in various fields of Science and Engineering
  • Min. 3rd semester for Bachelor at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in a international mobility program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL ITP 500 / TOEFL iBT 61 / IELTS 6.0
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)
  • A Valid Passport (submitted via application link in the additional documents section)

Notes:

Upon arrival, students must pay the equivalent of one academic unit, which is approximately $2,099 MXN. The objective of this contribution is for students to participate in integration activities such as the orientation session, welcome activity and the Farewell party. This amount is adjusted to semiannual inflation.
