What is UI International Short Course (EQUITY) Program?

Through EQUITY – World Class University 2025 grant program awarded to Universitas Indonesia, the Directorate for Internationalization of Educational (DIP) is organizing a seed funding assistance program for the UI International Short Course Grant 2025/2026 (EQUITY).

The UI International Short Course Grant 2025/2026 (EQUITY) is a grant for conducting credit-earning short course program for international students hosted by Universitas Indonesia. This grant is awarded to study programs through UI lecturer that organizes credit short courses involving international participants. The participation of international students in these programs is expected to enrich the academic insights of UI students, broaden global perspectives within the learning process, and strengthen international cooperation networks between higher education institutions. In addition to increasing the number of inbound international students, this initiative is also aimed at making a positive contribution to UI’s academic and international reputation.

We are pleased to inform that the registration and selection process for both Batch 1 and Batch 2 has been completed, and 13 short course programs have been selected as grant recipients. Thank you for your participation.

Funding Allocation

The total grant allocation for each selected short course proposal is IDR 95,500,000 (ninety-five million five hundred thousand rupiah). The funding components provided include:

Short Course Lesson Plan (RPP) Development Fee

A maximum of IDR 2,500,000, provided as an honorarium for the development of the Short Course Lesson Plan (RPP). This must be supported by a Dean’s Decree (SK Dekan) regarding the Credit Lesson Plan.

Teaching Honorarium Incentives

A maximum of IDR 45,000,000, with a rate of IDR 3,000,000 per session per lecturer. Each session must have a minimum duration of 3 (three) hours, including assignment grading, industrial visits, or other activities supporting the program’s execution. Each lecturer may lead a maximum of 2 (two) sessions, with a total maximum honorarium of IDR 6,000,000 per lecturer.

Implementation Fee

A maximum of IDR 48,000,000, covering expenses such as accommodation, local transportation, meals, and cultural site entrance fees. All expenditures must be supported by valid payment documents recognized by Universitas Indonesia.

Note: One of the requirements for the disbursement of program implementation costs is a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for at least 15 (fifteen) international student participants, signed by the Dean.
