UI GLOBES Outbound (equity)

Even Semester - Academic Year 2025/2026

UI–GLOBES Outbound offers financial support for UI students participating in Exchange or Fee-Paying Study Abroad Programs abroad. This support aims to enhance students’ global exposure and academic growth.

Eligibility

Please read the eligibility before you send the documents

UI–GLOBES Outbound (Equity) is offered to Universitas Indonesia students participating in Student Exchange or Fee-Paying Study Abroad Programs abroad.
Applicants must be registered as active full-degree students at Universitas Indonesia, meet the Outbound Student Eligibility criteria, and submit all required documents.
Applicants must not receive any other scholarships from Universitas Indonesia, government, or other institutions for the same program.

Awardees who withdraw or fail to complete the program are required to repay the full UI–GLOBES Outbound amount to Universitas Indonesia.
Applicants must be accepted as non-degree students at the host university for a minimum of one semester.

Required Documents

Letter of Acceptance (LoA) or at least a Nomination Letter (NoA) from the host university.

Recommendation letter from the faculty (signed by the Dean or Vice Dean).

Motivational Letter.

Confirmation of Scholarship/Self-Funding Status letter explaining any other funding received.

Application Flow

Students must complete the outbound mobility application process and be accepted by the host university with a Notification of Acceptance (NoA) or Letter of Acceptance (LoA).

Applicants must register through the application link provided and submit all required documents using the form prepared by the International Scholarship Team, DIP UI.

The International Scholarship Team, DIP UI, will conduct the document review and selection process.

Awardees will receive an Award Letter and UI–GLOBES Outbound (Equity) Agreement via email (ui-intlscholarship@ui.ac.id).

Selected awardees must confirm their participation by returning the signed original Agreement and required supporting documents for fund disbursement within the specified deadline to the DIP office, and send scanned copies via email (ui-intlscholarship@ui.ac.id).

The UI–GLOBES Outbound fund will be transferred to the awardee’s Indonesian bank account after the student has arrived at the host university abroad.

Awardees are required to submit both an activity report and a financial report within two weeks after completing the program.

Benefit

The financial support may be used to cover visa, departure flight tickets, and living expenses for up to five months.

VISA: Up to IDR 2,500,000 (at cost) upon submission of payment and processing proof, including administrative fees.
Departure flight ticket: Economy class (at cost) up to a maximum of IDR 7,500,000, with required submission of the ticket invoice, receipt, and boarding pass (original).
Living allowance: Up to IDR 10,000,000
