
Universitas Indonesia (UI) received a high-level delegation from Hadhramout University, Yemen, to discuss potential collaborations in the fields of medicine, engineering, and student mobility. The meeting reflects the mutual commitment of both institutions to strengthen academic ties and foster innovative partnerships.

The meeting aimed to open the potential collaboration between UI and Hadhramout University, particularly in Medicine and Engineering, while finalizing the establishment of an official collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Student Exchange Agreement.
Potential Collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering:
Joint research in climate change, bio system & energy, bio engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, biomass valorization, and others.
Collaboration for accreditation in chemical engineering.
Short course programs on renewable energy, biomedical engineering, and related topics.
Potential Collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine:
Benchmarking with the Faculty of Medicine regarding the education system and accreditation.
Joint research.
