Call for application for short-course program at The University of Melbourne, Australia!
Open for Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) students who have not participated in student exchange program.

Eligiblity

For Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) Students

An active UI Student fields in area climate technology, innovation, and policy
Minimum in the 3rd semester for Bachelor (S1) students at the time of application
Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
Have a strong academic performance
Have a strong competence in English proficiency

Must have a valid passport at the time of application

Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
Students who have participated in or are currently enrolled in any international mobility program are not eligible, except for participation in fully self-funded programs
Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application
Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)

The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.

A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL iBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

About the Program:

The selected students will receive travel-related expenses of AUD 1,500.

Thematic streams:
In addition to keynote sessions exploring dimensions of sustainability, participants will also engage in smaller breakout groups known as thematic streams, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Students will be allocated to one of the following thematic streams for the period of the Winter School program:

Sustainable Livelihoods: Health & Wellbeing
Planetary Systems: Food, Water & Ecosystems
Sustainable Society: Equity, Resilience & Justice
Sustainable Cities: Placemaking in the Urban Century
Digital Futures: Digitalisation, AI & the Energy Transition
Sustainable Economies: Climate Finance & Corporate Social Responsibility.
