The meeting focused on strengthening academic collaboration between UI and the University of Otago through the following initiatives:
Potential collaboration in Joint Degree (JD) and Double Degree (DD) programs with the Faculty of Law.
Co-funding opportunities for joint research and joint publications.
Collaboration in joint supervision and examination.
Development of joint short-course programs.
Implementation of the student exchange program, with nominations to commence after the Student Exchange Agreement is signed by both parties.
Follow up on the progress of double degree programs with the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Medicine.
