National University of Singapore (DiscoverNUS)

For Fall Semester 2025

National University of Singapore (DiscoverNUS), Singapore offers a student exchange program for undergraduates in semester 3 (minimun) and has never participated in any program from the Directorate for Internationalization of Education.

Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
  • Must be an active student at Universitas Indonesia (UI).
  • Must be at least in the 3rd semester for undergraduate (S1) students at UI at the time of application.
  • Must not have completed all required credits according to the curriculum of their study program at the time of participation.
  • Must transfer credits to UI after completing studies abroad.
  • Must not graduate from UI until the exchange period is completed.
  • Language Proficiency Standard:TOEFL ITP / TOEFL iBT / IELTS
  • Mandatory to purchase International Health Insurance that meets the coverage requirements set by the destination country’s visa and the partner university’s regulations.
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Students who have previously participated in or are registered in student exchange program are not eligible.
  • Must not be currently applying or accepting for any exchange or fee-paying study abroad program at the time of application.
  • Must comply to rules and regulations at the faculty (if any)

Document Requirements

  • A faculty recommendation letter signed by the Dean or Vice Dean with particular information needs to be included. Please read “IMPORTANT NOTES” for detailed information about it.
  • Legalized latest transcripts
  • IRS for last semester at UI before departing exchange
  • Language Proficiency CertificateTOEFL ITP / TOEFL iBT / IELTS
  • CV
  • Motivation Letter
  • Statement letter of willingness not to leave the country if the faculty does not give permission
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents
  • Study Plan (mandatory)

How to Apply!

All documents have to be merged in 1 (ONE) pdf format file in the order listed above. Send the documents to outbound@ui.ac.id at the latest on 27 February 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Recommendation Letter

*Please indicate:

  • The Outbound Exchange Scheme that your faculty support and acknowledge (only online or only offline both online and offline schemes are supported and acknowledged).
  • The student will not graduate from UI until exchange program is completed.
  • Academics credits earned from exchange program abroad can be converted transfered to UI.
