The Directorate for Internationalization of Education, Universitas Indonesia facilitated a visit from the INASIS (Student Dormitory) BSN of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) to the Universitas Indonesia Dormitory. The event was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, as part of an effort towards campus internationalization and cultural exchange among students. The UUM delegation consisted of twelve participants: one accompanying staff member and eleven students.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Mrs. Mariyah, S.Sos., M.Hum., as the Head of the Dormitory, followed by remarks from Ms. Rozita, the Vice Principal of Inasis BSN. Further remarks were delivered by drg. Nieka Adhara Wahono, SpKGA(K-KKA), PhD, Assistant Director for International Services and Students at Directorate for Internationalization of Education UI. This was followed by presentations from the Dormitory’s Public Relations Staff and the Head of the Student Senior Resident about the dormitory’s facilities and resident activities. A highly interactive Q&A session ensued, where an opportunity for future collaboration, particularly in managing international student accommodation, was identified.
The visit continued with a tour of the dormitory facilities, including the rooms in the H2 Building, the canteen, and the minimarket. The day concluded with a campus tour led by Firman Amirulloh, S.Kep, M.Pd., to showcase the faculties and learning support facilities at the UI Depok Campus.
