
Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed a delegation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), represented by Prof. Dr. Jacqueline E. van Muijlwijk-Koezen, Chief Education Officer, to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic collaboration between the two universities.

The discussion highlighted several areas of potential collaboration:
Joint Degree and Double Degree Programs — particularly with UI’s Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
Academic Program Mapping — VU will share a list of study programs offered in English to facilitate matchmaking with relevant faculties at UI.
Student Mobility Programs — including opportunities for fee-paying study abroad initiatives and short course programs designed to enhance international academic exposure.
This meeting marks a significant step toward establishing structured collaboration between UI and Vrije Universiteit, paving the way for enhanced academic exchange, joint research, and global learning opportunities for students from both institutions.
