"New Southbound Policy Elite Study Program"

Call for application for exchange program at National Quemoy University, Taiwan! Open for undergraduate and graduate students who have never participated on exchange or fee-paying study abroad program.

Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS
  • An active UI StudentThe program is open to students from all study programs. It may be particularly suitable for those majoring in International Relations or those with an academic interest in political and international issues related to Taiwan.
  • Min. 3rd semester (bachelor's) / 2nd semester (master's) at the time of application
  • Have not completed all required credits of their study
  • Must transfer credits to UI after completing exchange program
  • Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in a student exchange or fee-paying study abroad program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application.
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Dean or Vice Dean), must state:
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  3. Earned credits are transferable to UI.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL IBT or ITP / IELTS
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)
  • Learning agreement (following the provided format)
  • Consent letter (following the provided format)
