Call for application for short-course program at University of Osaka International Certificate Program S (OUICP-S), Japan!
Open for undergraduate (Applied Bachelor – D4), (Bachelor – S1) students who have never participated in an international mobility program.

Courses Information

Eligiblity

For Vocational Program (D4), Undergraduate Students.

An active UI Student
Min. 3rd semester for Vocational (D4) and Bachelor at the time of application
Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
Have a strong academic performance
Have a strong competence in English proficiency

Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in a student exchange or fee-paying study abroad program are not eligible
Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application.
Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)

The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.

CV & Motivation Letter

A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFLT iBT 80 / IELTS 6.0

Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

Notes:

The program will be conducted in both online and offline formats. Students are required to take the Practical Study Abroad (PSA) starting from May 2026.
Students must choose one of the following programs:
– Global Frontiers in Japan
– Frontier Engineering
(Note: The Frontier Pharmaceutical Sciences program is not open to UI students)
