Call for application for short-course program at AUA-SNU Youth Forum 2025: Sustainable Cities and Living Heritage!
Open for Vocational Program (D3, D4), Undergraduate and Graduate students who have never participated in an international mobility program.

Eligiblity

For Vocational Program (D3, D4), Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
  • An active UI Student
  • Min. 3rd semester for Vocational (D3, D4) and Bachelor at the time of application
  • Min. 2nd semester for Master at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Students who have participated or are currently enrolled in a student exchange or fee-paying study abroad program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application.
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL IBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)
  • A Valid Passport (submitted via application link in the additional documents section)

Benefits from the Organizer:

  • Stipend of USD 500 for airfare*Participants are eligible for airfare support up to a maximum of USD 500. Airfare support applies exclusively to economy-class tickets, and reimbursement will be made for the actual expense incurred, up to the USD 500 limit.
  • Invitation Letters
  • Airport Transfers and Site Visit Transfers
  • Campus accommodation on twin sharing basis (19th January 2026 to 25th January 2026)
  • Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Expected outcome:

By directly engaging with various sites in Seoul, students will explore the potential for development and preservation to generate mutual synergies rather than conflict. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to examine how Korea’s own rapid urbanization and development experience can be adapted and applied within the context of other countries. Through this, students from AUA member universities will gain field-based learning experiences that go beyond theoretical understanding.
