Call for application for MEXT Scholarship 2026 at Chuo University, Japan!
The MEXT Scholarship 2026 at Chuo University is now open for prospective graduate students who plan to begin their studies in September 2026.

Eligiblity

FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

Applicants must begin their studies at Chuo University in September 2026.
Applicants must start their studies as non-degree students (Kenkyusei or Senkasei).
Applicants must intend to continue to a Master’s or Doctoral degree program at Chuo University.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.30 out of 3.00, calculated using the MEXT grading standard.

Applicants must have been born on or after April 2, 1991.
Applicants must not apply for this scholarship for non-degree study only.
Applicants should have an academic background relevant to their proposed field of study.
Applicants should demonstrate sufficient English or Japanese language proficiency.
