About the Program

APRU Open Dialogues 7th Cohort

This workshop will explore the evolving role of “soft skills” in preparing university graduates for success in a globalized, multicultural, and increasingly changing labor market. It will also examine a (perceived) gap between university education and workplace demands.

Theme:

From Classroom to Career: Evolving Skills to Lead Across Cultures

Program characteristics:

  • Tecnológico de Monterrey will organize and lead this virtual workshop, with support from APRU.
  • The target group will be undergraduate students from all disciplines.
  • The program will provide innovative international educational experiences for the APRU student community through educational and digital tools.
  • The program aims to provide a broader view of the common challenges in the Pacific Rim, increasing students’ understanding of shared needs, perspectives, and cultures.

Eligibility

For Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) Students
  • An active UI student
  • Min. 3rd semester (S1) at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Head of Departement/Study Program)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • Motivation letter
  • CV (following the provided format)
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL iBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
