Asean University Network ASEAN Credit Transfer System

The ASEAN Credit Transfer System (ACTS) is a student-focused framework designed to support student mobility among universities within the ASEAN University Network (AUN). It was established to streamline student exchanges through the AUN Student Exchange Program, allowing institutions to maintain their existing credit systems without requiring adjustments to national or institutional frameworks.

ACTS prioritizes fostering connections among individuals with three core objectives: enriching academic purpose, enhancing students’ soft skills, and providing international exposure. Students benefit from ACTS in three key areas: earning academic credits, engaging in intellectual exchanges, and building networks with peers across ASEAN. In its initial two years of implementation, starting in 2011, over 100 students from six ASEAN countries participated in the AUN Student Exchange Program under the ACTS framework.
