Call for application for short-course program at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore!
Open for Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) and Graduate (Master – S2)  students who have not participated any international mobility program.

Eligibility

For Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) and Graduate (Master – S2) Students
  • An active UI Student
  • Minimum in the 3rd semester for Bachelor (S1) students at the time of application
  • Minimum in the 2nd semester for Master (S2) students at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Students who have previously participated in or are currently enrolled in any international mobility program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any international mobility at the time of application
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Head of Departement/Study Program)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL iBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

Notes:

  • Costs and Support
    There are no registration or programme fees for participation.
  • Accommodation and Logistics
    Participants will be responsible for arranging and covering their own international travel, accommodation, meals, and personal expenses.
  • Programme Format and Expectations
    The programme will take place from 11–14 August 2026 (arrival on 10 August, departure on 15 August) at SIT’s Punggol Campus, Singapore. It is a four-day immersive programme featuring seminars, workshops, industry/sustainability exposure visits, and cross-national team-based project work. Participants will collaborate in teams to develop solutions to real-world challenges, culminating in a final pitch presentation.
  • Industry Engagement
    The programme includes strong industry engagement components. Participants will benefit from:
    – Industry and sustainability-focused engagements and visits
    – Exposure to Singapore’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem
    – Hands-on workshops and real-world problem-solving sessions
    – A final pitch showcase, awards segment, and networking opportunities
