Call for application for short-course program at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei Darussalam!
Open for Undergraduate (Bachelor – S1) students who have not participated any funded international mobility program.

Eligibility

For Undergraduate (Bachelor - S1) Students
  • An active UI Student
  • Minimum in the 3rd semester for Bachelor (S1) students at the time of application
  • Must not graduate from UI until the program is completed
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements
  • Students who have previously participated in or are currently enrolled in any funded international mobility program are not eligible
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any international mobility at the time of application
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any)

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs/ Education Manager/ Head of International Office at Faculty)
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • A Valid English Proficiency CertificateTOEFL iBT or ITP / IELTS / Duolingo
  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)

Notes:

The total value of the programme is USD1,500 per participant, which covers:

  • On-campus accommodation
  • Daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  • Local transportation, including airport transfers
  • Academic sessions, workshops, and cultural excursions

Universiti Brunei Darussalam provides a substantial subsidy for the programme. Participants are required to pay only a subsidised programme fee of USD 100 / BND 130.

Participants are responsible for the following expenses:

  • International airfare
  • Travel and health insurance
  • Personal expenses
  • Subsidised programme fee of USD 100 / BND 130
