Fall Semester 2025

Call for application for Exchange Program to University of Groningen, Netherlands. Open for undergraduate students (min. 3rd semester) and graduate students (min. 2nd semester) at the time of application and who have never participated on an exchange or fee-paying study abroad program.

Eligiblity

FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS
  • An active UI Student at Faculty of Economics and Business.
  • Min. 3rd semester (S1) / 2nd semester (S2) at the time of application.
  • Have not completed all required credits of their study
  • Must transfer credits to UI after completing exchange program.
  • Must not graduate from UI until the exchange program is completed.
  • Have a strong academic performance
  • Have a strong competence in English proficiency
  • Must purchase international health insurance that meets visa and partner university requirements.
  • Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
  • Students who have previously participated in or are registered in a student exchange and fee-paying study abroad program are not eligible.
  • Must not be currently applying for or accepting any exchange at the time of application.
  • Must comply with faculty-specific rules and regulations (if any).

Document Requirements

  • Faculty Recommendation Letter (signed by the Dean or Vice Dean), must state:
  1. The faculty supports and acknowledges the offline outbound international mobility program.
  2. The student will not graduate from UI until the international mobility program is completed.
  3. Earned credits are transferable to UI.
  • Academic record signed by Vice Dean
  • CV & Motivation Letter
  • English proficiency certificate

For Undergraduate Students
IELTS Academic: overall score of 6, speaking score of 6, writing score of 5.5
TOEFL iBT: overall score of 80, speaking and writing score of 20

For Graduate students
IELTS Academic: overall score of 6.5, speaking score of 6, writing score of 6.5
TOEFL iBT: overall score of 90, speaking 20 and writing score of 24

  • Written approval letter of departure from parents (following the provided format)
  • Learning agreement (following the provided format)
  • Consent letter (following the provided format)
