Universitas Indonesia (UI) held a productive meeting with representatives from Azerbaijan Technical University in the Directorate for Internationalization of Education’s Meeting Room, UI Rectorate Building.

The delegation was:

Dr. Muthia Pramesti, S.E., M.M. – Assistant Director, International Education Program Development and Partnership

During the meeting, Dr. Fadhilah Muslim, Director for Internationalization of Education at UI, emphasized UI’s commitment to diversifying student destinations for double degree programs, highlighting Australia and the University of Sydney as key strategic partners due to their academic excellence and proximity.

The University of Sydney delegation presented the university’s profile, noting its global reputation (ranked 18th in the QS World University Rankings) and strong alignment with UI’s academic programs in fields such as architecture, social sciences, business, engineering, law, and health sciences.

Mr. Riko, representing the University of Sydney, expressed interest in broadening collaboration with UI beyond current engagements, particularly in anticipation of evolving scholarship schemes like Indonesia’s LPDP. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to formalize a stronger and more comprehensive partnership soon.
