Khalifa University

Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi is now accepting applications for its PhD scholarship programs through the regular track (after completing a Master’s degree) and the accelerated track (directly from a Bachelor’s degree). These programs are available in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Health.

Available study programs

Eligiblity

Graduate of a top 600 university (based on QS or THE rankings) or has an international journal publication
Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 for Bachelor’s and 3.25/4.0 for Master’s (for regular track), or a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 for Bachelor’s (for accelerated track)
Minimum English proficiency: TOEFL iBT score of 91 or IELTS score of 6.5 (can be submitted within one week after the application deadline)
For accelerated track: GRE with a minimum quantitative score of 150 (can be submitted within one week after the application deadline)
Two letters of recommendation
Statement of Purpose (500–1,000 words)
Research Statement (500–1,000 words)

Scholarship benefits include:

Monthly stipend of AED 20,000 (approximately IDR 80 million)
Visa and health insurance coverage
Conference and publication fees
