The Asian Students Environment Platform (ASEP) gathers university students and faculty from countries throughout Asia to learn about the differences of each nation’s natural environment and values and engage in a transnational discussion concerning the global environment for the purpose of cultivating talented individuals in the field of the environment who will flourish on the global stage.

■This program will be held online

■Cooperator: WASEDA University

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY

For undergraduate students:

  • A student with active status
  • Students should be, minimum, in their 3rd semester at UI, at the time of application
  • Have not registered 144 credits at UI (including credits on the last semester at UI before departing for exchange) by the time of the application.
  • Mandatory to transfer credits from exchange period to UI
  • Will not graduate from UI, until the exchange period is completed
  • GPA minimum of 3.2 (all major)
  • TOEFL/IELTS:
    • PBT at least 550
    • ITP  at least 550
    • iBT at least 80
    • IELTS at least 6.0

For graduate students:

  • A student with active status
  • Students should be, minimum, in their 2nd semester at UI, at the time of application
  • Have not registered 40 credits at UI (including credits on the last semester at UI before departing for exchange) by the time of the application
  • Mandatory to transfer credits from exchange period to UI
  • Will not graduate from UI, until the exchange period is completed
  • GPA minimum of 3.2 (all major)
  • TOEFL/IELTS (certificates that were given over 2 years ago are still eligible for this program)
    • PBT at least 550
    • ITP  at least 550
    • iBT at least 80
    • IELTS at least 6.0

DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Recommendations from faculty signed by Dean or Vice Dean (only for this program, the recommendation letter can be sent after applying)
  • Legalized Final transcripts (GPA min. 3.2)
  • IRS for the last semester at UI before departing exchange
  • TOEFL/IELTS:
    • PBT at least 550
    • ITP  at least 550
    • iBT at least 80
    • IELTS at least 6.0
  • CV
  • Motivation Letter

*Note: Students who have participated/enrolled in any program from International Office UI are NOT eligible
