On Tuesday, 28 June 2022, delegates from Deakin University visited Universitas Indonesia, taking place at Meeting Room B 2nd Floor, Administration Center Campus UI Depok. The delegations were, Prof Iain Martin, Vice Chancellor, Deakin University, Mr. John Molony, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (International), Deakin International, Prof Bas Baskaran, Pro Vice-Chancellor, International Research Partnerships – Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research – Deakin University, Ms. Lina Darliana, Country Manager – Deakin International, Mr. Sebastian Gunawan, Partnership Coordinator – Deakin International, and Mr. Zaky Muftada, Admission Coordinator – Deakin International.
The Deakin University delegates were welcomed by Secretary to the University, dr. Agustin Kusumayati, M. Sc., Ph. The two institutions discussed the agreement signing and discussion on the partnership between Deakin University with Universitas Indonesia. The topics discussed included joint supervision, exploring advances in high technology, and digital security. The visit was expected to help re-establish the connection between the two universities as international mobility starts to resume.
